Past life therapy is an exciting technique that helps us to understand knowing who we truly are, what drives us internally and what we are unconsciously searching for.
We might react to people and situations in ways that seem counter-productive, or we might not be able to resolve an issue. That’s because the problem may actually be rooted in dynamics set up in prior personalities/lifetimes. We may be “stuck in the past”.
Why have a past life therapy session?
Many people live their life unconsciously influenced by past-life fears, traumas, and unresolved emotional issues. What happens in a past-life session?
In past life therapy we take clients to the time and place where the original activating event occurred. This can be achieved through hypnosis and/or guided imagery.
Typically, the therapist guides the client through the significant events of that lifetime, through the death experience, and then a "life review." This is where the purpose of that lifetime and clarity of the lessons learned, and decisions made are examined from a higher, spiritual perspective. We particularly look at what is most important about that prior life in terms:
- Client’s current personality / hurdles
- Situation with present loved ones, friends, colleagues, etc
- Unexplained pains in the body
- Irrational fears/ strange nightmares / traumas
